ASSO CET 2016 has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2016 results only. Therefore, MBBS/BDS aspirants are advised to ignore the information given below on this page.

ASSO CET 2016 Eligibility: A candidate will be eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS for academic year 2016-17 on fulfillment of the following ASSO CET 2016 eligibility conditions:

• Candidate must be born on or before December 31, 1999 are eligible to appear for ASSO CET 2016
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying XII Std. (H.S.C) or equivalent exam
• General Category: Candidates from general category must have passed 10+2/ HSC with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio – Technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 % marks
• Reserved Category: Candidates from reserved category must have passed in the Subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio – Technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40 % marks

ASSO CET 2016 Exam Pattern: ASSO CET 2016 will be conducted in pen and paper based mode. The exam will be for 3 hours conducted in forenoon session from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.  The highlights of ASSO CET 2016 exam pattern is given below

• Exam Date & Time – ASSO CET 2016 exam will be conducted in the month of May (tentatively). The exam will be conducted in forenoon from 2 PM to 5 PM
• Exam Mode – The ASSO CET MBBS 2016 exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode in which candidates have to mark their responses in OMR Sheet
• Question Type – ASSO CET 2016 question booklet will have multiple choice questions (MCQ)
• Number of Questions – There will be 200 MCQ from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects

ASSO CET 2016 Application Procedure: The application form of ASSO CET 2016 can be filled in online mode from the month of March, 2016 (tentatively). Candidates are advised to read the application procedure carefully before filling ASSO CET 2016 application form so that they can know what information and documents required. While filling application form candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature. The examination fee of ASO CET 2016 is Rs. 3000 which can be paid through bank challan. Candidate should take printout of bank challan in account of AMUPMDC in any Branch of designated bank in next two working days onwards, from the day of Printing of Challan and obtain copy of Challan showing Journal ID / Transaction ID.

ASSO CET 2016 Important Dates: The application procedure for ASSO CET 2016-17 academic sessions will begin in the month of March and exam is schedule to be conducted tentatively in the month of May, 2016. Candidates can check ASSO CET 2016 important dates from the table given below. The gives dates are tentative and based on last year examination schedule. The new dates will be updated when the admission brochure of 2016-17 academic session will be available.

ASSO CET 2016 Admit Card: The admit card of ASSO CET 2016 will be available to download from the month of May, 2016. The ASSO CET 2016 admit card will be available to only those candidates whose application form will be duly completed and accepted by examination authority. To download ASSO CET 2016 admit card candidate have to enter application number and date of birth. The admit card will have candidate’s detail like name, roll number, exam center, time and examination instructions.

ASSO CET 2016 Result: The result of ASSO CET 2016 will be declared in the form of score and merit list for candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam. The result has been declared for candidates ho have scored the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. ASSO CET 2016 result can be checked by entering application number/username and password.

ASSO CET 2016 Merit List: The examination authority will prepare merit list of candidates as per their marks scored in the entrance exam. ASSO CET 2016 merit will have candidate’s marks, rank, category, and marks scored. MBBS or BDS seats will be allotted to candidates as per their rank in merit list and preference for the college.  

ASSO CET 2016 Counselling: The counselling of ASSO CET2016 will be conducted in three rounds beginning in the month of June, 2016. Candidates have to fill the preference form to participate in counselling process. The preference form for course and colleges filled by candidates will be centrally processed and allotment will be done solely on the basis of candidates rank in the merit list.
