DCECE Medical (Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination)
DCECE 2014 – Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination 2014 is a state level examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Competitive Examination Board as a qualifying examination for admissions to Staff Grade ‘A’ Nursing (For Women Only) and Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) (For Women Only) Diploma course in Bihar Polytechnic.

DCECE 2014 Eligibility Criteria:
For Staff Grade ‘A’ Nurse (For Women Only):
- The candidate must have passed the 12th standard examination with an aggregate of 40% marks, in case of SC/ST students this percentage is 35%
- The candidate who have passed 10+2/Intermediate Vocational Nursing course from recognized University or Institution of Nursing Council of India can also apply.
- Those ANM passed candidates who have passed 10+2/intermediate examination can also apply
- Appearing candidates can also apply
For ANM (Women Only):
- The candidate must have appeared/passed in 10+2 examination
DCECE 2014 Exam Pattern:
The Paper comprises of two stages:
First stage: conducted for PMD and PM diploma courses
- Candidates opting for nursing diploma courses should attempt this stage.
Second Stage: for PE, PNE and HM courses
- Candidates opting for Nursing Diploma courses need not attempt this stage.
DCECE 2014 Selection Process:
After both the phases of the examination have been conducted then the BCECE Board will come up with a shortlist of students based on the results of DCECE 2014and will call students for counseling and college/course preference.
DCECE 2014 Syllabus:
The syllabus for DCECE 2014 will be available on the official website and will basically be same as that of the HSC level examination.
DCECE 2014 Application Form:
- The candidate will be able acquire the application form from select colleges across Bihar or Select Canara Bank branches or from the Boring Road Branch of State Bank of India, details of which will be available on the official website
- The candidate will also be able to acquire the form through post by sending the DD to the DCECE Board
- After the candidate has acquired the form he/she must fill the particulars in the application form and send it back to the designated address
- The facility for online submission of applications is under consideration and might be available for DCECE 2014 on the official website
