COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Admission - Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has decided to accept NEET 2016 score for admission to participating medical and dental colleges. COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 admission is conducted for approximately 1500 MBBS and BDS seats in 39 medical and dental colleges participating in COMEDK. COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Eligibility: Candidates who wish to appear for COMEDK UGET 2016 must read the eligibility criteria to know age and qualification required for the exam. The admission to candidates in MBBS and BDS programmes will be done only after the fulfilment of COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 eligibility criteria. Highlights of COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria are given below:

• Candidate must complete 17 years of their age on or before December 31, 2016 (31-12- 2016) of the year of admission to the MBBS / BDS course
• The candidates should have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government, the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject
• All candidates must have passed these subjects (PCB) individually .General Merit candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB. SC, ST and OBC candidates must have obtained a minimum of 40% in PCB
• The General Merit candidates must also secure not less than 50% percentile (40 percentile in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates) in aggregate in PCB subjects in the NEET 2016

COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Application Procedure: The application form of COMEDK UGET Medical admission 2016 is available from August 18, 2016. The COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 application form could be filled in online mode and  requisite exam fee could be paid either using online payment gateway through credit/debit card and net banking. Candidates are advised to read the application instructions carefully before applying the application form because any mistake will lead to rejection of application form and cancellation of candidature. The last date for submission of application and payment of application fee is August 28, 2016.

COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Cut Off: The cut off score of COMEDK UGET Medical admission 2016 will be based on the NEET 2016 score. Based on the COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 cut off score candidates will be considered for admission to as many as 700 MBBS and 800 BDS seats will be done.

COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Merit list: The provisional merit list of COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 has been released by COMEDK on August 30, 2016. The final merit list of COMED UGET Medical 2016 admission will be released on September 6, 2016 after reviewing candidates’ objection on provisional merit list. The COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 rank list will have list of candidates as per their scored marks in NEET 2016.  Candidates having higher marks will be allotted higher rank and accordingly rank list will be prepared. The allotment of as many 1500 MBBS and BDS seas in participating medical and dental colleges will be done strictly on the basis rank and candidate’s preference.

 COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 Counselling: The counselling of COMEDK UGET Medical 2016 is scheduled to be conducted in two rounds beginning from September 8. The first round of counselling is scheduled to be held from September 8 to 10, followed second round from September 20 to 22, 2016. The counselling will be conducted in offline mode and candidates have to report the counselling venue as per the allotted schedule for their rank. Centralized Counselling (Single window) will be organized for seat selection in MBBS and BDS programmes.
