ASSO-CET PG Medical (Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Maharashtra Post Graduate Common Entrance Test)

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 – ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 which was scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2016 has been cancelled by Bombay High Court. The exam conducting body has announced that the intimation regarding conduct of ASSO PG CET 2016 will be announced soon as any orders are passed by the Supreme Court as it has been challenged by examination authority. ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is national level entrance exam conducted for admission to around 251 Post Graduate Dental (MDS) seats in 15 Dental colleges and 61 Post Graduate Medical (MD/MS) seats in 4 Medical Colleges of Maharashtra.

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates can check below for the eligibility criteria of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 conducted by AMUPMDC:

• Candidates must have completed MBBS/BDS examination from a recognized Medical or Dental college
• Candidates must have taken registration from MCI/DCI
• Candidates who have completed one year rotating internship on or before March 31, 2016 can appear for AMUPMDC PG 2016 exam
• Candidates who have completed PG Diploma is eligible to appear for ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 for admission to PG Degree in the same subject

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Exam Pattern: ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is a pen and paper based exam. The exam will be conducted in English language only.

• There will be a separate paper for Medical and Dental programme
• APGM CET 2016 will consist of 300 Multiple Choice Questions
• APGD CET 2016 will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions
• Each correct response will be given one mark
• There will not be any system of negative marking in the entrance examination

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Application Procedure: The application forms of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is available in the online mode only. The application forms has been released on February 5, 2016. After filling up the online application forms, candidates have to take the print out of the bank challan and remit the fee of Rs.3000 by cash in account of AMUPMDC in any Branch of State Bank of India within the stipulated time. Candidates need not to send the copy of application form or bank challan to the AMUPMDC office. However, candidates are advised to take the print out of the filled up application form and keep it safe with themselves for future refrences.

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Admit Card: The admit cards of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 will be available in the online mode only from February 13. Candidates must note that the admit cards will not be send to candidates by post or any other means. ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 admit cards will be available to download in the month of February, 2016.

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Result and Merit List: The exam conducting authority of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016, i.e. AMUPMDC will release a merit list for all the qualified candidates. The merit list will consist of candidate’s merit number, name and marks scored in the entrance exam. The statement of marks obtained by the candidates and their merit rank will be dispatched by Speed Post to the candidate’s mentioned address in the application form. The merit list of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 will be released in the month of March, 2016.

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Counselling: Allotment of Post Graduate Medical and Post Graduate Dental seats under Association of Management of unaided Private Medical and Dental colleges, Maharashtra , commonly known as AMUPMDC will be done through the online counselling. Candidates whose name is listed in the merit list are only eligible to appear in the counselling procedure of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016.
