Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2018 – 2019

TNPSC Group 1 – Educational Qualification

Any Degree from a recognized university. Final year student can also apply for this Job. The degree should be obtained in SSLC + HSC or its equivalent + UG Degree Pattern.

TNPSC Group 1 – Age Limit

To apply this post Minimum age is 21 Years, Maximum age is 35 years for SC/ST/BC/MBC, Others- 30 Years. For candidates possessing BL Degree 36 Years (BC/MBC/SC/ST) and 31 Years (Others)

Selection Procedure of TNPSC Group 1 Services 2018

TNPSC Group 1 Examination is divided into three stages i.e Prelims, Mains and finally Personal Interview. The merit list will be prepared based only upon Mani examination and Interview Marks.  The preliminary examination will not be considered in the final selection list.

• Stage-1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) – Total Questions – 200, ( General Studies – 150 Questions and Aptitude Test – 50 Questions )
• Stage-2: Main Examination (Descriptive Types) three Papers in General Studies. Each paper will have questions for 300 Marks (3 hours each)
• Stage-3: Interview
