CTET 2018


CTET notification 2018 will be released on 12th June 2018 on the official website. CBSE has published CTET 2018 exam schedule regarding application form & exam date in the newspaper. This time, CTET 2018 exam will be held on 16 September 2018 in online mode. CTET is a national recruitment process to appoint the skilful teachers for Primary level & Upper Primary Level. Earlier, CTET was being conducted twice every year, but from now onwards CTET exam will be conducted once in a year. However, CTET 2018 notification yet to be released but you can start CTET online exam preparation to appear in the exam. CTET Eligibility Criteria

Applicant needs to fulfil the below-mentioned requirements in order to appear for CTET 2018. Please note that the CTET eligibility criteria depends purely on the Class for which the candidate is applying for:

(i) Primary Level

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Education.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed.

CTET Online Form

CTET online form will begin on 22nd June 2018 at https://ctet.nic.in/. You can fill CTET online application form till 19th July 2018 (The last date to apply online for CTET). However, you can submit CTET application fee until 21st July.
