ULSAT 2018
ULSAT 2018 – UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (ULSAT) is a university level law entrance exam organised by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun. ULSAT 2018 was held in a two-day window i.e on May 5 as paper-based mode and on May 12, 2018 as computer-based mode. The UPES regulated aptitude test was conducted for offering admissions into five-year integrated law programmes including BA LLB, BBA LLB and B.Com LLB. Candidates may note that the undergraduate law admissions in UPES could also be done without appearing for ULSAT, either through Class 12 Board Merit, CLAT Merit or L-SAT India Merit scores if found eligible by the University. The 20 per cent seats was made available for selection through this mode in the BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), B.Com, LLB (Hons) and B. Tech LLB (Hons.) courses. Candidates applying through this non-exam pathway mode would be directly invited for the GD-PI process if they meet the merit requirements. The last date to apply for UPES law admissions through CBT mode was May 2, 2018. ULSAT 2018 Admission Process
UPES Dehradun begins admission process of ULSAT 2018 along with inviting of the application form. Admissions to five-year integrated law programmes will be offered through ULSAT 2018. Candidates will have to appear for the UPES law studies aptitude test on the scheduled date. Candidates based on their performance in the law aptitude test of UPES will be invited for attending group discussion and interviews after which the final merit list will be prepared for offering the UG admissions.
ULSAT 2018 Result
Candidates will be able to check result of ULSAT 2018 within a month of conduct of the examination as ULSAT publishes ULSAT 2018 score card and merit list. ULSAT 2018 result will specify the examination qualifying status of candidates, while the score card will mention their respective scores and merit secured among the test takers as per the issued ULSAT merit list. No communication will be entertained regarding ULSAT results.
ULSAT 2018 GD-PI
Once candidates check the ULSAT 2018 result, they will be able to see whether they have qualified for the next stage of the admissions process which will be the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) round. ULSAT GD-PI 2018 will start in June as per the schedule to be announced by UPES. Further, the ULSAT GD-PI will be held at nine Indian cities. Candidates will need to attend their given GD-PI centre as per the schedule to qualify for final admissions and become eligible for the ULSAT 2018 counselling process. The city-wise schedule for ULSAT 2018 GD-PI is as given in the below table.

ULSAT 2018 Counselling
UPES Dehradun will be organising counselling of ULSAT 2018 after it will announce the results. ULSAT counselling 2018 will be held inter-se-merit list of the candidates qualifying in the entrance exam. The ULSAT counselling will be organised offline at the UPES Dehradun campus where candidates will have to be present in person for verifying documents and submitting fees for confirming of admission seats to undergraduate law programmes.
ULSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to read eligibility criteria of ULSAT 2018 before filling in the application form. The ULSAT eligibility criteria needs to be gone thoroughly as it mentions the required conditions for appearing in the UPES law studies aptitude test. ULSAT eligibility 2018 specifies academic qualification, minimum marks in the passing examination and age required for applying for the undergraduate law programmes in UPES Dehradun. As per the common criteria, a candidates needs to have passed or should be appearing in 12th board examination this year to be considered eligible for ULSAT 2018 subjected to securing minimum marks in the examination.
ULSAT Application Form 2018
UPES Dehradun began it's application form of ULSAT 2018 on November 1, 2017. Candidates who were willing to apply for the undergraduate law programmes in UPES filled ULSAT 2018 application forms online for which they needed to register first. Once the registration for ULSAT 2018 was done, a candidate enrolment number and password was generated which was the login credentials for ULSAT application form. Candidates applying for ULSAT 2018 also had to pay a fee of Rs. 1850 in online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking facilities or offline through Demand Draft (DD) facility before May 2, 2018.
ULSAT 2018 Admit Card
Applicants who were looking forward to appear in the aptitude test of UPES for admissions into the UG law programmes could begin downloading the admit card of ULSAT 2018 for Computer-based test from May 10, 2018 and paper-based till the day of examination. ULSAT 2018 admit card is considered hall ticket to appear in the UPES law exam and can be accessed by providing login details. ULSAT admit card 2018 mentioned the candidature and examination details including candidate roll number and examination date and timings, besides complete address of the examination centre. Candidates were also advised to go through the important instructions printed on the ULSAT admit card 2018. No candidate was allowed to appear in the UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test without a valid ULSAT admit card (hall ticket).
ULSAT 2018 Exam Pattern
UPES Dehradun conducted ULSAT 2018 on May 5 and May 12, 2018. The UPES Dehradun regulated law aptitude test was held in both online and offline across India. The law aspirants answered as many as 150 questions of the UPES computer-based law entrance aptitude test and paper-based law entrance test in a time limit of three hours as the examination started at 9:30 am. The objective-type questions with multiple-choice options was set from five subjects–Language Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Legal General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude. Each of these subjects comprised of 30 questions of one mark each. There was no negative marking done for any wrong attempts.
ULSAT 2018 Exam Centres
UPES Dehradun conducted ULSAT 2018 in as many as 18 cities of India designated as ULSAT exam centres on May 5 &12, 2018. Candidates were allotted an exam centre in city of their choice as candidates were given an option to choose an examination city while applying for ULSAT 2018. No examination centre of ULSAT 2018 once allotted was changed under any circumstances. Candidates had to appear in the UPES law aptitude test on the allotted ULSAT exam centres. It has been advised by the UPES officials that the candidates need to reach their exam centres of ULSAT 2018 on time on the examination day, else they would not be allowed to appear for the aptitude test in case of reaching late for any reason.
