AIL Entrance Test (Army Institute of Law B.A. LL.B Entrance Test)
AIL LET 2018 - Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali will conduct AIL Law Entrance Test 2018 on July 1, 2018. Candidates who wish to appear for AIL LET 2018 should fill the application form which is available online from May 27, 2018. The application forms will be available until June 15, 2018. Candidates who wish to apply to the Army Institute of Law must pay an application fee mentioned. AIL LET 2018 is conducted as part of the admission process to the five-year integrated B.A L.L.B and one year L.L.M programme offered by the institute. The total number of seats for the B.A. L.L.B programme is 80, divided into categories such as Wards of Army Personnel with 60 seats, Punjab Resident Civil Category, 16 seats and ‘All India Civil Category, 4 seats.

Candidates who are called for the counselling procedure must make sure that they submit all the necessary original certificates which will be retained by the institution.
AIL LET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
- The Eligibility Criteria of AIL LET 2018 says that a candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination from either Panjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Punjabi University, Patiala, with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
- Students who have studied 10+2 through open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for admission in Law Courses.
- The applicants appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 can also appear for AIL LET 2018 provisionally, with a condition that their candidature shall stand cancelled in case they do not pass the 10 + 2 March / April Exams 2018 with the required percentage of marks.
- Candidates passing the compartment papers of qualifying exam of 10 + 2 subsequently shall not be eligible for admission even if a seat is available.
- In case an applicant has passed a qualifying examination from a Board/University whose degree is not notified as equivalent by Punjabi University, Patiala, he/she will have to produce the eligibility certificate from Punjabi University, Patiala at the time of the interview, failing which his / her candidature shall not be considered.
- Candidates whose result declaration would be delayed should apply well in time to the concerned Board of examination to forward a confidential result directly to Principal, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab. The responsibility to ensure its timely dispatch will be that of the candidate. Delayed receipt of result shall render the candidate ineligible for admission.
AIL LET Application Form 2018
The application form of AIL LET 2018 is available online from May 27, 2018 until June 15, 2018. Candidates who wish to apply for the five-year integrated B.A L.L.B and 1 year L.L.M programmes offered by the institution must make sure to check the application-cum-admission procedure carefully before applying. While completing the application forms, the candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 3500. The last date of submitting the application form with a late fee of Rs. 1000 June 18, 2018. Also, it is mandatory that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by the institution as those who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

The Conducting board reserves the right of not holding examination at a centre where the strength of examinees opting for the centre is less than 15.
- Candidates will be given three options in the order of preference for AIL LET 2018 exam centre to be filled in the AIL LET Application Form.
- Candidates must note that they will not be able to change the test centre once mentioned in the application form.
AIL LET Admit Card 2018
The admit card of AIL LET 2018 will be available online June 28-30, 2018. Only those candidates who have completed the application procedure successfully will be able to access the AIL LET 2018 Admit Card.

- The questions asked will be objective type.
- There will be No Negative Marking.
- Answers should be marked in the attached OMR response sheet.
- The medium of Entrance Test is English.
- In case, candidates secure identical marks in the final list, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying examination will be preferred. In case of the marks still remain the same at this stage also, the candidate older in age shall be given preference.
AIL LET Result 2018
The result of AIL LET 2018 will be announced on July 7, 2018. Candidates can check the results online by logging in with the log in credentials created during the registration process.
AIL LET 2018 Counselling
After the declaration of result of Law Entrance Test 2018, first 100 candidates in order of merit of Army Category will be called to fill up 60 seats and 20 candidates in order of merit of All India Civil Category will be called for Counseling to fill 4 seats
Following documents will be submitted as per the details are given below:-
(a) Photocopies of Certificates along with Application Form
- Matric Certificate showing Date of Birth.
- 10+2 Certificate with Detailed Marks (Only if cleared).
(b) Original Certificates Required at the time of Counseling
- 10+2 pass Certificate with detailed marks.
- Certificate giving details of Date of Birth.
- Migration Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Category Certificate (download certificate from website)
- Medical Fitness Certificate (download certificate from website)
- Willingness Certificate (download certificate from website)
- It is mandatory for students who have cleared their 10+2 Examination from Education Boards other than Punjab, Haryana, Himachal & CBSE/ICSE to produce an Eligibility Certificate at the time of admission.
- An affidavit by Father/Mother/Guardian stating whether or not their ward has studied Punjabi at the Matriculation level. (in case the wards is above eighteen years of age the affidavit shall be signed by him/her).
- Passport size photographs (12) including the photos on the Admission-cum Application form
- One Photograph of Parents, Family Members & Local Guardians.
- Affidavit/Certificate for Punjab Resident Civil Category.

AIL ENTRANCE TEST COUNSELLING DETAILS
- Counselling of AIL Entrance Test is conducted in offline mode only
- Army ward candidates and All India Civil category candidates are offered admissions on the basis of their merit score in AIL Entrance Test
- Candidates need to carry original as well as photocopies of the required documents for verification at AIL Entrance Test counselling
- The admissions to five-year integrated LLB programmes are offered only to candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of AIL Entrance Test
- Candidates need to remit the admission fee after the provisional allotment so as to complete the admission procedure of AIL Entrance Test
